Talking to Students About Covid 19Talk with your student about what is going on. There is so much happening in our world right now and much of it we can not control. Just imagine how your kids are feeling. They know that things right now are stressful, people are upset and they have no control over their world. Please have a conversation with them about how they are feeling and the fears they are facing. Not talking about it causes more fear and worry. Give them space to share what they are experiencing.
Here are some resources for talking to your student about the Coronavirus. 15 Days of Self CareBe sure that you are taking time for self care. With all the stress we are all experiencing we need to be mindful of taking care of our mental health as well as our physical health. Take time to refill your own bucket.
It is not too early to start thinking about what you want to do when you get out of school. This page offers resources for parents and students alike.
